This beach is regarded as the most scenic and picturesque beach of the Algarve zone. The water at Dona Ana is blue and crystal clear, making it a good place for swimming. You are surrounded by colourful cliffs and soft golden sand, making this the ideal beach destination.
With walking proximity to the centre of Lagos, you will be in a perfect location and one of the best areas to stay in Lagos, Portugal. You can walk from the center in 30 minutes and because of the tall cliffs, this is the best means of transportation. There is a bus route with hourly departures, but it stops at the top of the cliffs.
In terms of water temperature, it is a tad cooler than average, but it is a great place to snorkel and appreciate the sea life. You will not go wrong by spending a few days at Dona Ana Beach.
