Barcelona is one of the most romantic cities in the world and definitely gives Paris a run for its money. Full of charm and romantic spots at every turn, fall in love in beautiful romantic Barcelona…
There are lots of romantic things to do with your other half in Barcelona, here are our top tips for the lovebirds coming to the city!
#1 Best Places to Kiss in Barcelona
Cable Cars in Montjüic: What could be more romantic than having a cheeky smooch in a cable car and enjoying views over the entire city? Once you arrive, stroll through the beautiful gardens and spend some quality time with your partner. There are a number of places to stop and enjoy the views (and steal a kiss).
The Magic Fountain: If you decide to walk back down the Montjüic mountain, you will be rewarded by the stunning Magic Fountain. At night, enjoy a stunning display of lights, water and music and absorb the magical atmosphere in.
El Món Neix en Cada Besada (The World Begins with Every Kiss): From a distance, this mural of a kiss could easily be mistaken for graffiti, however as you get closer, you will notice that it’s made up of hundreds of photographs that have been taken by locals and express freedom in some way. For example, there are photos of couples kissing, people smiling, beautiful places in the world and more. Here is a website which will allow you to zoom into each individual tile! You will find this smooching spot in Plaça d’Isidre Nonell in the Gothic Quarter.
The Bunkers: The perfect, hidden spot to sit and enjoy a picnic with your partner whilst enjoying the sunset over Barcelona. Despite being one of the best viewpoints in Barcelona, even some of the locals don’t know about this hidden gem yet, making it a great spot to enjoy some privacy away from the hustle and bustle and kiss as the sun goes down.
Park Güell: This is one of the most famous attractions in Barcelona and for good reason. This spectacular park by Gaudí is full of corners perfect for an intimate moment surrounded by beauty.
